Sports nutrition brand MaxiNutrition has launched its latest rugby campaign, enlisting help from England rugby players and brand ambassadors Chris Robshaw, Courtney Lawes and Anthony Watson.
The campaign, named “England. Powered by MaxiNutrition”, airs on television on Monday 7th September and sees the international rugby players – all of whom started in the win against Ireland on Saturday, the final match before the Rugby World Cup – face an army of warriors.
Watch the campaign launch at Sport Industry TV.
The campaign is the latest instalment of MaxiNutrition’s rugby portfolio, which includes deals as the official sport’s nutrition supplier of the RFU and WRU for the last three years and involved with Premiership club rugby teams for the last decade.
England captain Chris Robshaw commented: “It was great to be part of MaxiNutrition’s rugby campaign, sports nutrition is an integral part of being a professional athlete and with the intense pre-season that we have been through MaxiNutrition is key to help us sustain and rebuild our muscles. We had great fun filming on the day and facing up to the warriors.”
MaxiNutrition’s PR & sponsorship manager, Mark Morgan added: “We have had a long standing association and partnership with rugby and have worked with some great athletes along the way; this campaign is the largest that we have undertaken at a time when the nation’s eyes are on the sport. As always it was great to work with Chris Robshaw, Courtney Lawes and Anthony Watson.”
