M&C Saatchi Merlin has announced the signing of GB sprinter and European champion, Adam Gemili.
Gemili won the 100m World Junior Championships in a championship record time of 10.05 just a month before he announced himself at the London 2012 Olympics. Still only a teenager, Adam secured global medals by winning the 200m at the 2014 European Championships and coming second in the 100m at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
Head of athlete management Greg Kirkpatrick commented: “At just 22 years old, Adam undoubtedly has the potential to become the fastest man in the world and epitomises what we look for in a client. His performances on the track already place him amongst the world’s elite sprinters; he is the only man in British history to run sub 10 seconds and sub 20 seconds for the 100m and 200m respectively.
“What is most impressive about Adam though is his charismatic approach to challenges. With his hugely welcoming personality, infectious smile and large international following, Adam resonates well with a wide range of brands and we look forward to exploring these potential partnerships as his reputation continues to grow globally.”
Adam joins fellow GB athletes Katarina Johnson-Thompson, Jodie Williams and Perri Shakes-Drayton on the M&C Saatchi Merlin roster.
