Mclaren Expands Sustainable Collaboration

McLaren Racing has extended and expanded its partnership with Merchants Fleet.

As part of the new agreement, the US fleet management company will continue as an official partner of the NEOM McLaren Extreme E Team, while expanding to become an official partner of the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team for Season 10 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.

UK-based McLaren Racing first entered its partnership with Merchants Fleet in November 2021, with the two organisations stating that the ‘brands’ sustainability journeys’ was a key focus of the collaboration, as well as ‘goals to promote DE&I (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion).’

The initial partnership was launched at COP26 and the pair have since gone on to collaborate at Merchants Fleet Annual Fleet and Strategic Summits in 2022.

McLaren Racing will continue to support Merchants’ ACCELER8 ESG programme, which focuses on electrification and DE&I, with Merchants Fleet continuing to benefit from branding on the NEOM McLaren Extreme E race car, and on the race suits of the drivers.
