The McLaren Formula 1 Team have agreed a new partnership with global information management services company, Iron Mountain.
The multi-year deal will see Iron Mountain become an official partner of the team, beginning from the 2025 United States Grand Prix. As part of the agreement, Iron Mountain branding will feature on both McLaren Formula 1 cars throughout the 2025 season and beyond.
The partnership will focus on McLaren Racing’s digital heritage transformation, with Iron Mountain using its AI-enabled digital solutions to help activate the team’s archives. The project aims to transform historical assets, such as blueprints and vintage media, into new digital content for fans and partners. McLaren Racing will also utilise Iron Mountain’s services for the management of its end-of-life IT assets.
