McLaren Racing dial up US-focused T-Mobile deal

McLaren Racing have landed a new agreement with T-Mobile that includes branding on the Formula 1 team’s cars and garage headsets for the rest of the 2024 season.


The deal also sees the telecommunications provider become McLaren’s exclusive 5G partner in the US, taking effect from the 2024 United States Grand Prix in Austin on 20th October.

Through the new partnership, the team will use T-Mobile’s 5G to enhance race day operations, we well as providing connectivity for guests and offer new fan experiences at races in the US.

T-Mobile’s established sports sponsorship portfolio includes a longstanding agreement with German football giants Bayern Munich, as well as deals with MLB, the PGA of America, and MLS club Los Angeles FC.
