McLaren Racing teams up with TDK in Formula E car branding deal
McLaren Racing has struck a multi-year partnership that designates TDK as an official technology partner of its Formula E and Shadow F1 Sim Racing teams.
As per the agreement, the company’s branding will feature on McLaren’s Formula E racing car, and throughout the McLaren Shadow Studio, which is located at the McLaren Technology Centre in Surrey.
The new collaboration will additionally focus on gaming, with the two parties set to develop passives, sensors, and batter technologies.
“TDK and McLaren Racing are two brands always looking to push boundaries with innovation in technology,” said Zak Brown, CEO at McLaren Racing.
“We are delighted that this partnership will help further accelerate both our journeys by sharing insights and learnings from both the motorsport and automotive worlds.
“We look forward to going racing together in both the upcoming Formula E season as well as with our F1 Sim Racing Team.”
