The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews (R&A) has extended its partnership with German luxury car manufacturer Mercedes Benz ahead of the 150th edition of The Open.
For a record 30th time the R&A will host this year’s Championship. From 10th July to 17th July, with nearly 300,000 spectators expected to attend. Mercedes Benz will again hold a significant presence at the iconic golf tournament.
Mercedes‑Benz has been a partner of the Open organiser, The R&A, since 2011. This year, Mercedes‑Benz’s partnership extension consolidates its position as an official patron and official car at The Open.
With almost 100 vehicles active throughout the tournament, the company will ensure the mobility of players, officials and selected guests for the Championship. The fleet of vehicles be all-electric.
