Mercedes F1 Launches Whatsapp Partnership
The Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 team has agreed a new partnership with WhatsApp.
The deal sees the Meta-owned messaging platform become the official messaging partner to the UK-based motor racing team.
In September, Mercedes-AMG Formula 1, that races with a German license, became an early adopter of the new WhatsApp Channels broadcast feature, which saw the team share behind the scenes experiences and insights with fans.
Now, the relationship has been made official after the new partnership was announced exclusively via the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team WhatsApp Channel.
The partnership got underway at last weekend’s Las Vegas Grand Prix and will take in the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix on 26th November, before embarking on its first full campaign from 2024.
