The Mercedes Formula 1 team have inked a multi-year supplier partnership with sportswear giant Adidas, taking effect from the 2025 season.
The deal with the UK-based team marks Adidas’ return to motorsport, as the German brand secures its first agreement in Formula 1.
Adidas will design a full apparel range for Mercedes drivers George Russell and Andrea Kimi Antonelli, as well as the team’s mechanics and engineers.

The company replaces US fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger, which had previously supplied Mercedes’ racing wear from 2018 to 2024.
The new agreement, which includes ‘official team partner’ designation, comes in the buildup to the 2025 Formula 1 season, which gets underway in March with the Australian Grand Prix.
Adidas will launch a new range of Mercedes branded clothing, footwear, and accessories, which will be available for purchase ahead of the next campaign.
Reflecting on the new collaboration, Adidas CEO, Bjørn Gulden, cited growing interest in Formula 1 as a key factor in partnering with the 11-time Constructors’ champions.
“We are very happy to be back in the world of motorsport,” Gulden said.
“Interest in motorsport in general and Formula 1 in particular has been growing a lot.
“We will support the drivers and the team to push the limits on the track. Off the track we will bring a fresh perspective to the sport by introducing exciting lifestyle product and extending the reach to a new generation of fans.”
Toto Wolff, CEO and Team Principal of the Mercedes F1 Team, added, “Adidas is an iconic brand, one that shares our dedication not only to peak performance but to style and sophistication too. This announcement therefore represents a groundbreaking collaboration that will redefine what team and fanwear means in our sport.
“We are excited to break this new ground and work with Adidas as we collectively strive to fight for world championships.”
