The International Tennis Federation has confirmed that MG is the official automotive partner of the 2025 Davis Cup Final 8 in Bologna from 18–23 November.
The agreement has marked MG’s first involvement in tennis and has included the provision of official transport for players, teams and staff.
The fleet has featured several models from MG’s line-up, including the MG3, MG ZS, MG HS, MG4 and MG5 EV. The partnership has also covered on-court and perimeter branding rights.

Founded in the UK and now operating under Chinese ownership, MG has expanded significantly in Europe, including in the UK market where it has recently grown its electric vehicle share amid record sales in 2024. Its involvement in the Davis Cup has reflected the company’s strategy to strengthen its visibility through international sport.
The Davis Cup Final 8 has been the knockout stage of the men’s World Cup of Tennis, organised by the ITF, and has taken place at Bologna Fiere. The event has brought together the top eight national teams, including Great Britain, which has reached the stage for the third time in five years.
