Streaming platform MMA TV has launched a trailer for its new mixed martial arts talent search series, ‘Find A Star’, ahead of the first episode being aired on 24th January.

The series, the brainchild of MMA TV’s Founder and CEO Siju Roseje, will follow the progress of 20 contestants who were shortlisted after a UK-wide appeal to find promising fighters who had not entered the ring before.

The candidates will complete a set training programme before participating in a series of bootcamps under the guidance of the judges, including Roseje, UAE Warriors heavyweight champion Chi Lewis-Parry, KSW fighter Jason Radcliffe, Oktagon MMA’s Alex Lahore and Prim3’s Matt Carroll.

The winners of the series will secure a lucrative multi-fight contract with promoter Prim3, as well as a long-term contract with Mogul Management and a one-year sponsorship deal with RDX Sports.

They will also star in a Prime3 fly-on-the-wall documentary series building up to their bouts.

The 20 shortlisted contenders include a care worker from Walsall, a horse groom from Huntingdon and an electrician from Plymouth.

MMA TV founder and Find A Star judge Siju Roseje said, “It will be a hard process for these talented fighters to make it to the final so they’d better impress and grab this rare opportunity with both hands. We’re looking for well-rounded fighters with big personalities who can deliver in the cage and, judging by what we’ve seen so far, the fight to the top will be fierce!”

MMA TV, which recently signed a multi-year partnership with Samsung TV Plus, has exclusive rights to stream ONE Championship and PFL MMA action in the UK.
