Mob Film Launches Specialist Sports Division

Commercial and sports production firm, The Mob Film Company, has announced the launch of a new sports arm following successful work last year with the Rugby League World Cup, William Hill and Rio Ferdinand.

The Manchester United and England star worked closely with The Mob Film Company to promote his #5 Apparel clothing range – named after the defender’s shirt number.

Mob, which has offices in London, Manchester and Los Angeles, has also previously teamed up with the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Arsenal and Juventus.

Mob’s new sports division will focus exclusively on creating and providing advertising and digital content for clients across the world of sport. 

It is led by Head of Sport Nick Humphreys, who joined Mob from Premier League champions Manchester United, where he had worked as a Relationship Director for six years.

Humphreys, who will liaise closely with Mob’s founder and global executive producer John Brocklehurst with a team of nine permanent staff, said: ‘Mob Films has been involved in sports production for several years but coming on board to lead Mob Sport is about helping the company’s growth with the creation of this new division which will provide a focus to its aim of becoming the industry leader in sport content creation and production.’
