Mondogoal Launches Women’s World Cup Platform

Mondogoal, the global fantasy sports platform, has announced that it will launch a daily pay fantasy game for the 2015 Women’s World Cup, which will be played in Canada from 6th June – the first-ever daily pay fantasy game for any women’s team sport.

Mondogoal – shortlisted for a BT Sport Industry Award 2015 – will have daily pay fantasy games throughout the Women’s World Cup for all teams and all matches.

Each day of the group stages, fans can pick a team of 11 players from the four games on that day using the Mondogoal salary cap format and then watch the Women’s World Cup to see players earn points for their fantasy teams with every contribution they make during the game. 

Like in any pay fantasy game, the best compiled scores at the end of the day from a series of statistics will win the top cash prizes.

Data analytics for use by consumers are compiled in real time by Perform’s Opta Sports, with points awarded for goals, assist, tackles won or lost, shots on goal, passes completed, clean sheets and much more. 

The platform has partnerships with Chelsea FC, FC Barcelona, Liverpool FC, West Ham United FC, Manchester City FC, and AS Roma.

Mondogoal runs contests on a daily or matchday basis for La Liga, Premier League, Serie A, Bundesliga, Major League Soccer, Ligue 1, the FA Cup, European Championship Qualifiers and the prestigious Champions League and Europa League.
