Mongoose Launches Mongoose Promotions

Mongoose, part of The Mission Marketing Group (the mission), has launched a new division and extension to the existing agency called Mongoose Promotions.

Mongoose Promotions has been established to help sports & entertainment clients understand the behaviour of customers and to create and execute campaigns.

The news follows the announcement last week, that Mongoose Sports & Entertainment was appointed by Table Tennis England on a two-year commercial and marketing partnership.

The new division will enable the agency to offer promotional expertise in house and also extend the sponsorship offering from sports & entertainment to brand partnerships.

David Pearson will head up Mongoose Promotions and has previously worked at McCann-Eriksson and spent 15 years at Motivcom, where he was responsible for running the sales promotion division. David has also held the role of head of consumer programmes at Sodexo Benefit and Reward’s UK COMEX.

Chris O’Donoghue, CEO, Mongoose Sports & Entertainment said: “There is an integral link between sponsorship and sales promotion with behavioural change being core to any brand that is venturing into the world of sponsorship.
