Monster Energy has announced new partnerships with five Premier League football clubs, all on the same day.

Deals with Southampton, West Ham, Everton, Brighton and Hove Albion, Leicester and Crystal Palace have all been announced by the respective clubs, while the energy drink company has been listed as a partner on the Tottenham Hotspur website for the last week – though the north London club hasn’t yet announced any official partnership.

With each of the other clubs, Monster has been positioned as the Official Energy Drinks partner, and will see LED board presence at the Premier League grounds as well as on the digital media channels of each of the teams. The Southampton announcement also promises that Monster “will be rewarding the club’s loyal fanbase with unique experiences” throughout the course of the partnership.

Speaking about the Southampton deal, David Thomas, Chief Commercial Officer, Southampton FC said: “Monster share our commitment to innovative marketing and have become a globally successful brand through this approach.

“We look forward to building a collaborative partnership with our new Official Energy Drinks partner. It’s great to have another exciting blue chip company join our family of commercial partners.”

While of the Crystal Palace announcement, the club’s Commercial Director, Barry Webber, said: “Monster Energy are a huge global brand and we believe them to be a good fit with our club – they pride themselves on being ‘all-action’, have insatiable levels of ambition and drive, and are committed to innovation within an extremely competitive market. They are an organisation who invest in an array of global sports and entertainment properties, and we are pleased to partner with them.”
