Monster Energy, the official energy drink of the UFC, has launched a brand-new docuseries, ‘All On The Line’, which goes behind the scenes with the combat sport’s stars.
The three-part series features Monster Energy athletes Valentina Shevchenko, Rose Namajunas and Daniel Cormier, who have each been at the centre of some of the most talked about moments in the history of the sport.
Weekly episodes will be released on the Monster Energy YouTube channel, which includes footage of the athletes’ iconic moments and their own commentary. Episodes will focus on their state of mind during the build-up to the bouts and unpack how these encounters made headlines all over the world.
Shevchenko, who features in the first episode of the mini-series, overcame widespread doubt to retain her title in a brutal knockout of Jessica Eye.
Monster Energy explained, “Her opponent [Eye], who at the time was considered one of the leading fighters in the women’s flyweight division, spent nearly two minutes knocked unconscious due to a brutal head kick from Shevchenko.
“‘The Bullet’ describes her no-holes-barred mindset in the build-up to the fight, not getting caught up in the back and forth and her first thoughts after the historic win.”
The second part highlights another of the sport’s leading female stars, Rose Namajunas, who came back from a year-long hiatus to take revenge on rival Jessica Andrade. The final documentary
dissects one of the most fearsome heavyweight battles in the history of the UFC between Cormier and Stipe Miocic.
The Monster Energy docuseries is part of a wider promotion offering fans the chance to meet their heroes at UFC Fight Week in Las Vegas in July.
