Motorsport Network has appointed former Goal Global Editor in Chief James Dickens as its new VP of Editorial.
In his previous role, Dickens oversaw the global publisher’s content strategy, targeting a worldwide audience of football fans with a focus on the biggest players, teams and competitions. He joined Goal in 2018, having previously been Head of Sport at Yahoo.
As VP of Editorial, Motorsport Network, Dickens will oversee a team of over 200 journalists across Formula 1, MotoGP, Formula E and others, as well as brands such as Autosport, which will celebrate its 70th anniversary in 2020, and Motorsport.com, which operates in 15 languages.

Dickens’ new remit will also oversee the OTT platform Motorsport TV with more than 1,000 live events streamed per year, while the wider network serves more than 56 million users a month across 205 countries.
