Mp & Silva Acquires Premier League Rights

The Premier League has agreed a deal with MP & Silva in which the agency will own the rights to the league in Indonesia and Oceania. 

As part of the deal, which will run until 2016, the agency will distribute the rights to broadcasters in each of the regions. New Zealand is also covered by the agreement as well as 15 Pacific Islands including Samoa, Tonga and Fiji as well as Papua New Guinea. 

Premier League chief executive Richard Scudamore said of the deal: ‘We know MP & Silva well as they have acquired Premier League rights in the past and we are pleased to be working with them again.’

Andrea Radrizzani, MP & Silva’s chief executive commented: ‘We are glad that the Premier League recognises our leadership in the market and we are very excited to use our network of broadcasters to improve audiences of top-class football content in Indonesia and Oceania.’
