Sports nutrition brand, Maximuscle, has announced a two-year sponsorship deal with Munster Rugby, and will provide the squad with individually-tailored nutritional support to complement their lifestyle, training and game preparation.
The Hemel Hempstead-based company, which is part of the GlaxoSmithKline owned Maxinutrition group, will be supporting the club in their quest to reinstate themselves as Ireland and Europe’s number one club in 2012/2013.
Senior sponsorship and PR manager for Maximuscle, Mark Morgan, said: ‘Munster is a club with a rich and successful history, their rugby credentials speak for themselves so it is a very exciting partnership for Maximuscle. Rugby is an incredibly physical game but I am confident that our products and nutritional expertise can help to give the Munster players an edge over their opposition. Our continuing goal is to increase awareness in Ireland and we hope this partnership is another step towards this.’
Discussing the new partnership with Maximuscle, Bryce Cavannagh, head of fitness at Munster added: ‘Maximuscle has a fantastic reputation within our sport. I know, through my contacts, that they have been doing great things within the world of rugby. Munster Rugby is always striving to be the best in every facet of our game and that is why we are delighted to have Maximuscle as our sports nutrition partner.’
