The Football Association has hired communications planning agency Naked
Communications to develop a marketing strategy for a series of projects
promoting the governing body’s work.

It is understood that Naked will work on briefs for four separate projects,
one of which is the Tesco Skills Programme, launched last week at Wembley
Stadium.

Simon Freedman, the FA’s head of marketing, has a history of working with
Naked having hired them during his time as football sponsorship manager at
Coca-Cola.

The FA is keen to promote its grass roots activity more in partnership with
its sponsors to provide more backing to its commercial partners.
