National Express has revealed that it will not be renewing its multi-million pound sponsorship with the Football Association.
The National Express’ decision comes just months after E.ON withdrew its sponsorship deal with the FA.
The coach company’s deal as the official transport partner of the England team and FA Cup ends after the World Cup.
The FA may be able to keep some parts of the deal in relation to Wembley Stadium as National Express confirmed they are in on-going talks.
National Express and FA entered their partnership in 2007.
However, the FA has renewed deals with Carlsberg and kit supplier Umbro as well as completing new agreements with Mars and Virgin Atlantic.
The FA is reportedly also in the process of renewing deals with Tesco and McDonald’s with agreements pertaining to the coaching and grassroots programmes.
