National Express has sealed a new long-term partnership with the England Commonwealth Games team in the run up to Glasgow 2014.??

The partnership sees National Express become an official supporter of the England Commonwealth team.??

England’s athletes excelled at this year’s Commonwealth Games Delhi in October bringing home 142 medals.??

Andrew Cleaves, managing director of National Express, exclusively told Sport Industry TV that the company is looking to expand its sport sponsorship portfolio ahead of the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

??’We are currently talking to the Wales Commonwealth team in a similar capacity,’ said Cleaves.??

Commonwealth Games England Chairman Sir Andrew Foster added: ‘Having a major corporate sponsor being involved so early in England preparations for the 2014 Games is a testament to the potential and talent of the England Commonwealth Games team.’
