The National Basketball Association has launched an international version of its mobile application NBA Game Time as it looks to bring basketball to mobile devices in over 200 countries for the first time.

Throughout the season the live application will provide international fans with the ability to watch up to 40 live games each week.

The application will be available on the iPhone, iPad and Android and NBA Game Time will feature video of one live game each week and up to 50 daily video highlights, including top plays from around the league and game recaps.

There will also be access to live home and away radio broadcasts of games, daily photo galleries, live statistics and scores.

Fans will have to subscribe to either the NBA League Pass standard or premium packages which offer on demand footage ad live games.

?The application comes as each sport continually looks to bring highlights to people on the go – with other applications available such as ESPN goals – which shows Premier League goals as they go in.
