NBA Launches New Online Service

The NBA has launched a new online subscription service which will give UK basketball fans access to a complete season of live NBA game webcasts on NBA.com.


The NBA League Pass Broadband International, which will be rolled out across 20 countries, will give fans access to more than 40 live NBA games online each week through the 82-game regular season.


In Europe, the service will be available in Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom, and globally in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, India, Japan, Mexico, Philippines, and South Korea.


Fans in the UK will be able to subscribe to NBA League Pass Broadband International through several different package options including Full Season, Monthly and Daily.  Special pricing for the Full Season option is now available for $84.95 until 11th November. 


All of the live NBA webcasts will feature play-by-play in English, and will remain on NBA.com for 24 hours after they air.


The NBA has close to 30 international players currently plying their trade in the league including Chicago Bulls and Great Britain star Luol Deng.


Fans in the UK will have further access to NBA programming with a weekly live game on Tuesday on terrestrial TV channel Five as well as the weekly highlights show NBA 360 screening on digital channel Five US every Tuesday.
