NBA Stars Set For Manchester Clash

The USA Basketball team, which includes NBA stars LeBron James and Kobe Bryant, will play a friendly against Great Britain in Manchester, on 19th July – a day after the women’s teams clash.

The fixtures at the Manchester Evening News Arena will act as part of both nations’ preparations for the London Olympics, with the basketball competition starting on 28th July.

In Beijing at the 2008 Games, the USA won gold in the men’s and women’s events.

The travelling men’s team will also take on Argentina, Brazil, Dominican Republic and Spain as part of their exhibition schedule.
