Neilson Appoints Henman Communications

Activity-based holiday provider, Neilson Holidays, has added sports PR agency Henman Communications to its agency roster.

The agency will provide specialist tennis PR support to boost the profile of the tennis programme that runs at seven of its Beachclubs across Greece and Turkey.

Henman Communications will work alongside Neilson’s existing agencies; travel specialist Brighter PR and digital agency Propellernet. Together the agencies will build the profile of Neilson’s tennis holidays in the key national tennis, sport and health and fitness media, and bring wider tennis industry knowledge and contacts into play. 

Mark Petchey has been appointed as Neilson’s tennis ambassador and consultant for the coming two seasons and will be launching the Mark Petchey Tennis Programme.

Mark is a former Wimbledon and Davis Cup tennis player, Sky Sports and BBC TV commentator, and Andy Murray’s former coach. Henman Communications will work closely with Mark to position him within the key tennis, sport and health and fitness media.

Henman Communications will also create a series of mini-documentary style tennis videos, with Mark Petchey at Messini Beachclub in Greece over the summer. The content will sit on the new online tennis hub, which will provide tennis coaching and health and fitness tips over the summer holiday season.
