Tickets for Glasgow 2014 have been designed to be accessible, affordable and for everyone, with prices starting from £15 for adults with half price concessions for under 16s and over 60s. More than two thirds of the tickets cost £25 or less.

Glasgow 2014 chairman Lord Smith of Kelvin, said: ‘I am delighted to welcome Jessica, Nicola, Michael, David and Allan to Glasgow 2014 as Official Ambassadors. ‘I will never forget the roar of the crowd in London and hope that everyone goes out to buy tickets to add their support for us all once again.’

‘My goal is to add the Commonwealth gold medal to my Olympic, World and European ones – the full set would be amazing.’

Nicola Adams added: ‘I am delighted to be an official Commonwealth Games 2014 Ambassador.  The Games are a huge deal for me, it’s another opportunity to create history and win the first women’s Commonwealth Games Boxing medal.’
