British Cycling and Sky have revealed the new team kit for ‘Sky Track Cycling’, the kit will be worn for the first time this weekend at the UCI Track Cycling World Cup in Manchester.

The kit for the team formerly known as ‘Team Sky+HD’, has been aligned to that of the professional British road cycling team ‘Sky Pro Cycling’.

The track team includes Olympic gold medalists Sir Chris Hoy, Victoria Pendleton and Jason Kenny, silver medalist Ross Edgar, current BMX world champion Shanaze Reade and young sprint star Matt Crampton.

The new adidas skinsuits are black and red and have been personalised to each rider with their names and national flag.

Four time Olympic champion Chris Hoy said: ‘it’s a really classic design, which is simple and understated, and a lot of work has gone into getting it perfect.  We’re excited about racing in our new helmets and clothing – it’ll be good to come out looking smart and ready to go’.
