Newcastle United have appointed David Hopkinson as the club’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Hopkinson will officially join the club on 5th September, taking over from Darren Eales who is stepping down for health reasons.
He brings over 25 years of senior leadership experience from some of the world’s most valuable sports organisations. His previous roles include President and Chief Operating Officer at Madison Square Garden Sports, where he led the New York Knicks and New York Rangers, Global Head of Partnerships at Real Madrid, and Chief Commercial Officer at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, overseeing the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors.
