The National Football League (NFL) has partnered with Voke VR to show in-game and post-game highlights of four games with play-off spots up for grabs.
The collaboration will see Voke, who was recently acquired by Intel, create virtual reality highlights packages for fans around four games.
Voke will work with NFL Films to produce the content, which will include highlights as well as commentary. The first of the package was on Sunday, when the Jacksonville Jaguars hosted the Denver Broncos.

It’s not the first time that the NFL has looked to VR, with the American football body partnership with NextVR last month for an experiment that saw VR highlights released from three games.
Voke has already used its TrueVR platform, teaming up with Turner Sports and Occulus to provide a courtside view of the 2016 NCAA men’s basketball Final Four and national championship game through Samsung Gear VR and provided highlights on Facebook’s 360.
Voke co-founder Sankar Jayaram said: “Competition is always good. Competition means there are different approaches as the NFL is testing with multiple players to capture the right camera angles, storylines and evaluate and how this works out in their future.”
William Deng, the NFL’s director of media strategy and business developments said: “Virtual reality has the potential to bring a unique perspective to our fans to complement the different ways they currently enjoy the game. We look forward to working with Voke as we continue to experiment and create new experiences in this emerging medium.”
