NFL Releases 50 Golden Tickets

The NFL will kick off Super Bowl 50 with a giveaway for UK fans that will see 50 winners scoop 50 prizes during the first week of February.

As part of a week-long UK focused celebration, including an appearance in London by the Vince Lombardi trophy, fans across the country can win a range of prizes.

Prizes include; a trip for 2 to Jacksonville to watch a Jaguars home game; flights and accommodation to LA to watch a Late Late Show recording; a trip to the Budweiser distillery in St. Louis; a Bose Sound Tough home cinema system; hospitality tickets to England versus Holland in March and the weight of the Lombardi trophy in Doritos.

Fans can sign up to win from today via www.nfl50goldentickets.com, through to Super Bowl 50 day on 7th February. Prizes will be given away from midday on Tuesday 2nd February, with the last prize being won an hour before Super Bowl 50 kicks off.

Alistair Kirkwood, managing director of NFL UK said: “This is by far the largest competition we’ve ever run here and celebrates just how important the UK has become to the NFL. The international series games in London attract sell-out crowds and we have more than three million avid fans here in UK, a figure that is growing every year. This competition is a great chance for everyone in Britain to get involved in the world’s biggest sporting event.”

Since 2007 the NFL has been hosting regular season games in London, including three at Wembley Stadium for the second straight year in 2015. As well as extending its Wembley partnership through 2020, the NFL has announced an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur for a minimum of two games per year to be played over a 10-year period in Tottenham’s new stadium, which is due to be completed in 2018. The NFL has also agreed a three year deal with the Rugby Football Union to stage a minimum of three games at Twickenham, with the first in October 2016.
