Nike Sport has launched its So Fast campaign, inviting professional athletes and the Nike+ community to increase their speed, collaborating with 13 elite athletes, including Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams, Wayne Rooney, Mo Farah, Kobe Bryant, Katarina Johnson-Thompson and four-time Olympic gold medal winner, Michael Johnson.

The athletes also star in the Find Your Fast video campaign, available to view at Sport Industry TV.

As part of the overall campaign, each athlete stars in an individual video focussing on their training and competing.

The campaign invites the Nike+ community to join the Nike+ Run Club and the Nike+ Training Club as both apps launch training programmes. The Nike+ Run Club coaches have developed an eight week programme to help people increase their one mile running time, by providing workout, motivational music and advice, led by the Looney Tunes cartoon character Road Runner.

The Nike+ Training Club will launch its 12 week fitness challenge on 6th July, featuring six two-week training programmes led by Nike trainers.

The Find Your Fast initiative will culminate on 30th August when Nike+ Run Club and Nike+ Training Club members will be invited to record their fastest mile, as Nike’s elite athletes compete at the World Track and Field Championships in Beijing.

Adam Roth, Nike vice-president, global running brand marketing, said: “Nike has always been a brand in service of athletes. And while every athlete wants to get faster, not every athlete has the right tools to do so.

“Our Find Your Fast campaign provides all the inspiration, innovation and enablement athletes need to run, train and play faster across our physical products, digital apps and live experiences. It’s the entire Find Your Fast eco-system that’s game-changing, not just for us but for the athletes we serve.”
