Nike Moves Comms Team To London

Sportswear giant Nike has restructured its communications department and moved its Western European team to London from early August.

Previously based at Nike’s EMEA head office in The Netherlands, Western Europe Communications Director, Charlie Brooks, will be joined in London by Western Europe Senior PR & Communications Managers Carolyn Small and Gavin Thomas.

They will oversee Nike’s PR & Communications efforts across Western Europea from London, working alongside the UK & Ireland team, led by UK Head of PR & Corporate Communications, Leo Sandino-Taylor.

In addition to this move, Claire Parnell will be joining Nike UK as PR Manager focusing on Football & Running. Parnell will join next month from Hill & Knowlton. Parnell will report into Sandino-Taylor and work alongside UK PR Manager Jo Taylor (Women’s Training & Nike Sportswear) and UK PR Executive Simon Wainwright.

Nike UK continues to use Freud Communications and Exposure for it’s UK & Ireland focused work.
