English Football League (EFL) Championship football club Norwich City has announced an expansion of its partnership with Finnish multi-functional loader business Avant Tecno.

For the 2022/23 season, Avant’s logo will appear on the pre-match warm up shirts for the men’s first team and Under-23’s team. The shirt was worn for the first time ahead of the Canaries’ pre-season friendly win at Dereham Town on Friday 1st July.

Under terms of the agreement, Avant will become a primary partner from the beginning of the upcoming 2022/23 season. Part of this investment includes provision of machinery to the grounds team at Norwich’s 27,000-capacity Carrow Road and it’s Lotus Training Centre.

Sam Jeffery, Commercial Director at Norwich City, commented, “We’re pleased to announce the expansion of our partnership with Avant. Raimo and his team are brilliant supporters of the club and the Foundation and we thank him in particular for his ongoing commitment.”

Raimo Ala-Korpi, Avant’s Managing Director for the UK, added, “We are delighted to announce our partnership extension with Norwich City that spans across multiple levels from Junior Canaries to the team on the ground. The new partnership follows our multiyear collaboration with the football club and will give Avant the chance to promote our world-leading multifunctional loaders to both East Anglia and all around the country. We look forward to working with the club’s staff at the Lotus Training Centre and Carrow Road to turn the hard jobs into a joy.”

Norwich City return to the EFL Championship this season after relegation from the Premier League in the last campaign. Norwich manager, Dean Smith, joined the club halfway through the season last year and will be aiming to seal promotion straight back to England’s topflight.
