Norwich City FC has announced a new deal with SBOBET, one of the leading online bookmakers in Asia, who will become the club’s official Asian betting partner.
While financial details of the new deal were not revealed, the brand was present in the Barclays Premier League last season, as principle partner of West Ham United – who replaced the betting company with Alpari for the new season.
Will Hoy, Norwich City’s head of sales and marketing said: ‘We’re thrilled to have SBOBET joining our commercial partnerships programme. We’re very much looking forward to working with such a big name in the Asian betting market.’
Bill Mummery, executive director of SBOBET added: ‘We are delighted to enter into this strategic relationship with Norwich City. I am confident that this will be a meaningful and mutually beneficial business relationship for both the club and SBOBET.’
‘We are a global player in our industry with brand leadership across Asia which will help lift the profile of Norwich City in the Asia region. We are also looking forward in supporting the cub in its work through the Community Sports Foundation.’
