SA Rugby has signed a seven-year agreement with Rhino, making the British company the official ball supplier for the South Africa national rugby union teams.

The deal covers both the men’s and women’s Springboks, as well as the Currie Cup, further solidifying Rhino’s presence in international rugby.

The Cardiff-headquartered brand has grown its reputation through key partnerships, including its ongoing collaboration with the British and Irish Lions, which dates back to 2009.

Rhino will continue its role as the Lions’ ball supplier for their upcoming tour to Australia later this year.

Reg Clark, CEO of Rhino, said, “Rhino has been producing rugby balls since we first began in 1980, but this partnership with SA Rugby, and becoming the match ball of the four-time world champions, reflects the huge strides we’ve made in recent times.”
