Npower Launches New Campaign

Npower has launched the ‘Every Shirt Tells a Story’ campaign, to promote its sponsorship of the Football League, and to coincide with the last few games of the season, as well as the play-off finals.

The ad campaign by VCCP Blue & WPA, is inviting fans from across the country to tell anecdotes behind why they favour certain replica shirts – with the most entertaining featured in TV ads, which will launch from 12th May.

The ad campaign kicked off over the bank holiday weekend.

Six ‘Face of the Finals’ winners will also appear on giant posters at Wembley and Old Trafford football stadiums.

The campaign also pushes Npower’s Football Saver tariff, which offers customers a £45 voucher to spend in their local Football League club shop.

Kevin Peake, marketing director at Npower, said: ‘When fans sign up to this tariff, they receive a £45 voucher to spend in their club shop’.

‘So the fans can start their own shirt story by getting next season’s shirt, and the club benefits from receiving the voucher’.

The Football League agreed a three-year title sponsorship worth £21m with Npower last year.
