O2 Backs England 3d Match

England rugby team shirt sponsor O2 has organised for the Six Nations match at home to Wales to be Europe’s first live 3D sports broadcast.

The mobile brand is sponsoring the initiative which will see Odeon and Cineworld cinemas screen the match on 6th February, along with the game against Ireland at Twickenham on 27th February.

The broadcast will use polarised 3D cameras at Twickenham.

The game will also mark the 100th anniversary celebration of England’s first match at Twickenham.
