Continuing its Wear the Rose campaign, England Rugby partner O2 has announced details of an official England Rugby 2015 send off with the RFU on 9th September.

‘Wear the Rose Live’ will be held in front of 14,500 fans at The O2, with the England rugby squad, coaches and management in attendance, and key players taking part in live interviews on the night.

They will be joined by Take That as they perform an hour-long exclusive set of hits, complete with a full 48-piece orchestra for the first time.

Additional special guests include 2014 Britain’s Got Talent Winners Collabro, who topped the album charts last year, and England Rugby’s official anthem singer, million album selling soprano Laura Wright.

England Rugby captain Chris Robshaw said: “The support that we get from our dedicated fans means so much to the team and they really can be the difference when we are out on the pitch. We are looking forward to the opportunity to personally thank our supporters at the Wear the Rose Live event this September.”

Nina Bibby, O2 marketing director commented: “This year O2 is calling upon the entire country to Wear the Rose and get behind the England Rugby Team, to demonstrate the power of support. Wear the Rose Live has been designed to do just that, offering 14,500 fans a once in a lifetime opportunity to send-off the team with world renowned artists Take That. Through Priority, we’re proud to be giving our customers exclusive early access to Priority Tickets 48 hours before general release to what is set to be one of most exciting events ever held at the O2.”

Sophie Goldschmidt, RFU chief commercial and marketing officer added: “We know that England rugby supporters are among the best in the world and we are delighted to be offering our fans an opportunity to cheer on the team in the final days before they take to the pitch at Twickenham Stadium. We are proud to partner with O2, working together to create a unique event that places the fans at the very heart of it. Power of support, especially at home, can be the difference and hope that we can mobilise the nation to get behind the team come September.”

To support the event O2 has created a new TV advert – available to view at Sport Industry TV.

The advert features England fans from across the country joined by Take That, helping to carry the players on to their shoulders, as they make their way to The O2, with a special cameo appearance from Jonny Wilkinson.

Tickets range from £20.15 through to £85, with those purchasing an £85 ticket receiving the new 2015 England Rugby replica shirt.
