Oakley has signed a new multi-year partnership with the Ferrari Formula One team to work together on technical advances and innovation, according to media reports.

The announcement was made at the United States Grand Prix over the weekend, held at the Circuit of the Americas near Austin, Texas, by Ferrari team principal Stefano Domenicali and Oakley chief executive Colin Baden.

The deal focuses on sharing design philosophies, technical advances, inspiration and innovation over a multi-year period.

Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso has had a personal deal with Oakley for the last two seasons and was a part of this year’s Change Perspective campaign with the brand.
