Integrated agency, Once Upon a Time has announced the acquisition of sports management specialist, Red Baron Enterprises for an undisclosed sum.
The deal will extend the agency’s award winning integrated offering to sports brands. Red Baron owner and managing director, Duncan March will join the agency’s board in the role of sports marketing director.
Commenting on the acquisition, March said: “Joining the agency enables us to bring rich content to sports brands, and integration with Once Upon A Time’s expert digital and shopper marketing means that we can really make an impact with its retail expertise.”
March has been prolific in sports management, notably tennis, for 14 years, manages and works with sports stars and brands including Pat Cash, Goran Ivanesevic, BNP Paribas, Ellesse, CNN and The Sunday Times.
Once Upon a Time CEO, Joe Garton commented that “The addition of sports marketing strengthens the growth of the agency’s already impressive service offering.”
