Harlequins has renewed its longstanding partnership with OPRO, which sees the London-based company remain as the official mouthguard for the club.
The three-year deal will see Harlequins’ players wear custom-made OPRO mouthguards.
OPRO will also support Harlequins Ladies as they enter the newly formed Tyrells Premier 15s competition.
Ned Wills, Harlequins commercial director, said: “We are excited that OPRO will continue to supply Harlequins’ mouthguards for our male and female athletes. We have been working together for over 15 years and we are proud to further develop the relationship we have with each other.”
Andy Reynolds, head of medical services at Harlequins, said: “We are delighted OPRO have extended with Harlequins. Player safety and welfare is of paramount importance to us and OPRO offer our players the best protection on the market.”
OPRO chairman and founder, Dr Anthony Lovat BDS, said: “Harlequins are an iconic team and we are proud to have supported the club for the last 15 years. We are delighted to have renewed our partnership and are really looking forward to supporting the Ladies in the newly formed Premier 15s competition.”
OPRO is the official mouthguard partner of over 60 teams, including England Rugby, Australia Rugby, New Zealand Rugby, and 11 Aviva Premiership clubs.
