Optimum Nutrition And Bath Uni Sign Deal

Sports nutrition brand Optimum Nutrition (ON) has become the Official Nutrition Partner to Team Bath, with a special emphasis on rugby and swimming.

The deal will see Team Bath, the University of Bath’s sport brand, supported by Optimum Nutrition across its venues, sporting disciplines and athletes.

Team Bath covers the family of sports and recreation-related activities at the University, and is unique in British Sport.

Based in a £30m sports facilities including the Sports Training Village – the University is used as a training base by Olympic and Paralympic athletes as well as providing facilities and services to local, regional and national sporting bodies, squads and individual members of the public.

??Optimum Nutrition manufacture protein powders, nutritional bars, ready-to-drink sports beverages, vitamins and essential minerals. ??

The deal will see Optimum Nutrition branding on competition and training wear for the high performance student rugby and swimming teams and throughout the Sports Training Village.

Team Bath will also benefit from seminars, workshops and top level advice from the company’s nutrition experts, and will also work closely with the University of Bath’s Sports Science and Medical Centre on product trials, research and development. ?
