Mobile phone company Orange has agreed to become the eighth global partner of UEFA Euro 2012 tournament to take place in Poland/Ukraine.
The deal sees Orange become the official telecommunications partner in 11 European countries.Orange will benefit from perimeter boards exposure, and will work with UEFA to develop and distribute the tournament’s official mobile application.
As part of its activation programme, Orange will also offer fans the chance to win match tickets for UEFA EURO 2012 through various competitions and promotions.
The 11 territories included in the Orange sponsorship agreement are Armenia, Austria, France, Luxembourg, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
In Poland, Telekomunikacja Polska will also be an official technology partner of UEFA for its flagship national team competition.
