Ovo Extends As Hydro Naming Rights Parnter
The Scottish Event Campus (SEC) has announced that its flagship live entertainment venue, the OVO Hydro, will continue to carry the name of the energy supplier until at least 2030
The latest partnership renewal, brokered by AEG Global Partnerships, reinforces the long-standing relationship between the two companies. Their shared commitment to sustainability was viewed as a pivotal factor of this extension.
In 2022, the Glasgow sports and entertainment venue became the first venue in the world to receive ‘Greener Arena Certification’, an independent certification process which holistically assesses venue operations.
Additionally, as naming rights partner, Bristol-headquartered OVO has offered support and advisory services regarding the Campus’ environmental sustainability initiative and will continue in this role as part of the renewed partnership.

It’s unusual in our industry for partnerships of this nature to have such longevity, so the continuation of our relationship with OVO is testament to the amount of synergy to be found between our two businesses. We pride ourselves on delivering unforgettable experiences for our guests, and through this partnership some 500,000 of them have been afforded early access to tickets.
