Paddy Power has launched a new campaign to coincide with the return of the Premier League.
The betting brand’s new All is Forgiven campaign will welcome the sport back into our lives again after its three-month absence.
The campaign spotlights common fan grievances around the modern game – from ‘dodgy’ player haircuts and time-wasting tactics to half-and-half scarves. The campaign positions them as welcome signs of the game’s return. The campaign, created in partnership with Octagon, will run across outdoor, press and social.
Josh Green, Creative Director, Octagon said: “This is a love letter to football nonsense. From all of us to the game, we’ve missed you. The rubbish things, the annoying things, everything. Sometimes you don’t know what you have until it’s gone.”
The Premier League will return on 17th June with two matches – Aston Villa v Sheffield United and Arsenal v Manchester City – before the rest of the league returns on Friday 19th June, to be broadcast across Sky Sports, BT Sport, Amazon Prime and the BBC, with some broadcasters making Premier League matches free-to-air for the very first time.
