ParalympicsGB and Aldi have signed an eight-year extension of their partnership, which will now run until 2032.

The German supermarket chain will continue to support ParalympicsGB athletes competing at the next two Paralympic Winter games in Milano Cortina in 2026, and in the French Alps in 2030, as well as the summer games – Los Angeles 2028 and Brisbane 2032.

Aldi’s renewal follows a highly successful Paralympic Games at Paris 2024, during which ParalympicsGB clinched 124 medals, finishing second in the medal table.

Having first partnered with Team GB in 2015, Aldi has been ParalympicsGB’s official supermarket partner since 2022.

The company’s partnership with the two organisations has seen the launch of ‘Get Set to Eat fresh’, a free educational programme which informs children about affordable and healthy eating. This initiative has reached more than three million young people since its inception.

Paralympic athletes have supported more than 56 Aldi supermarket openings across the country since the partnership began.

Earlier this month, ParalympicsGB revealed NatWest as the organisation’s banking partner.

“Aldi has been a core partner of ParalympicsGB since 2022, so we are excited to be extending our partnership,” said Jenny Seymour, Commercial Director at ParalympicsGB.

“This renewed commitment not only supports our incredible Para athletes as they pursue their Paralympic dreams but also helps us inspire future generations to embrace the values of sport, wellbeing and healthy living.

“We’re looking forward to building on the impact we’ve made together and to achieving even more in the years ahead.”

Kyrsten Halley, Marketing Director at Aldi UK, added, “We’re proud to extend our partnership with ParalympicsGB through to the Brisbane 2032 Games. This decade-long commitment reflects our shared values of inclusivity, determination and community.

“Together, we aim to inspire the next generation through initiatives like ‘Get Set to Eat Fresh’ while supporting ParalympicsGB athletes in achieving their goals on the world stage.”
