Paris To Host 2010 Heineken Cup Final

The Stade de France stadium in Paris has been chosen to host the Heineken Cup final in 2010, European rugby’s flagship event.

The match, which will take place on 22nd May, will be the third final to be staged in France.

Bath sank Brive in Bordeaux in 1998 and Leicester beat Stade Francais at the Parc des Princes in Paris in 2001.

This year’s final between Leicester and Leinster will take place at 5pm on Saturday 23rd May at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield Stadium.
