Phd Joins Kell Brook For Title Fight
PhD Nutrition has announced it will be supporting undefeated welterweight Champion Kell Brook as he heads Stateside for his IBF Welterweight title fight with Shawn Porter.
The nutrition and sports supplement provider has agreed to sponsor the Sheffield-born boxer as he enters the ring on 16th August for the biggest fight of his career at the StubHub Center in California.
The partnership will see PhD Nutrition support Kell Brook’s nutritional needs as he prepares for the title bout, as well as sponsoring his shorts and ring walk t-shirt.
The deal with Kell Brook follows the recent sponsorship announcement of Olympic long-jump champion Greg Rutherford – who also added Commonwealth Gold to his titles at Glasgow 2014 earlier this week.
Welterweight Champion, Kell Brook, said: ‘I’ve been using PhD Nutrition products for a while now, so it’s great to have the support of a brand I know and trust. This is a huge fight for me and with the backing of PhD Nutrition, I will be fully prepared and return to the UK with the IBF Welterweight title around my waist!’
