Pick TV Joins UFC Fight In The UK
Digital-terrestrial television channel Pick has acquired the rights for two upcoming Ultimate Fighting Championship mixed martial arts events.
The deal means that “UFC Fight Night Gonzaga v Cro Cop 2” on 11th April and “UFC Fight Night Berlin” on 20th June will be broadcast free-to-air on the channel in the UK.
The Gonzaga v Cro Cop 2 event will take place in Krakow, Poland and feature London born Jimi Manuwa v Polish star Jan Blachowicz.
The events will be live on numerous operators, including Freesat and Freview, in the UK and Ireland.
David Allen, senior vice president and general manager UFC EMEA, said: “We’re thrilled that PICK have secured the rights to these events and that, through them, fans in the UK and Ireland can watch two amazing UFC events via free to air TV.
